The Custom Enrichment preference offers a versatile set of preferences that allows users to make comprehensive modifications to schedules. Custom Enrichment enables global modifications across the entire scheduling framework, including:
Adjusting duties
Managing vehicle assignments
Organizing relief cars
This preference streamlines customization of schedules but also ensures adaptability to evolving needs and operational requirements. Whether it’s fine-tuning duties, optimizing vehicle allocations, or coordinating relief car assignments, it serves as a powerful tool for tailoring schedules to specific preferences and operational needs.
Delegate Relief Trips To Vehicle Schedule as Service Trip
The Delegate Relief Trips To Vehicle Schedule as Service Trip template is used to move the relief car trips from the relief car schedule into the vehicle schedule. It can be used to incorporate relief cars into your existing vehicles.
Go to Preferences
. Select Custom Enrichment under the Misc category.Click Load Template and go to the Optibus tab.
Select the Delegate Relief Trips To Vehicle Schedule as Service Trip template and click Apply.
Set up the configurations.
Relief Service Route Name - Enter a name for the custom service trips that will be created in place of the relief car trips.
Move Relief Cars as a whole to a Vehicle - Enable this option to move the relief cars as a whole to the vehicle schedule, rather than trying to insert them into existing vehicle gaps.
Select Relief Cars - Enter the IDs of specific relief cars that should be transferred to the vehicle schedule.
Run on Revised Events - By default, this should be set to Yes.
5. Save and close.
6. Click on the Schedule update icon 
located at the top left of the screen and select Revise Events.
7. Check the Custom Enrichment box and click Modify Schedule.
Viewing Custom Enrichment
You should now see the relief cars under the Vehicle Schedule.
