Route group preferences make it easier to associate specific sets of preferences with specific routes. Some preferences require a route group as input.
In this article, you will learn how to set route group preferences.
To set the route group preference:
Go to the preference tab.
Search for Route Groups in the search bar.
Click on the button under the MISC tab.
Click on the Add Preference button at the bottom.
Click on Add a new route group for each route group you want to add.
For each route group, define which routes that group can do.
Applying route groups in preferences
Use the group that you created in order to define preferences that apply for the entire group.
For example, if you wish to apply a layover of 5 minutes for trips from the route group that you have created, you can do so by applying the route group to the defined Layover Points template.
View route group trips on the schedule
To get a better sense of the trips associated with specific route groups, you can change the schedule view so that you only see trips taken by routes in the route groups you specify. To do this, use the filter on your schedule.
Click the filter tab.
Scroll down until you see Route groups. Select the route group(s) you want to view from the drop-down menu and click "Apply."
