Time Limitations

In this article, you will limit the duration of the structure of the duty - what kind of duties you want to receive and what you wouldn’t.

  1. Go to the preferences tab and search for Time Limitation in the search bar.

  2. Click on the button under the Drivers tab.

3. Click on Load Template at the bottom.

4. Go to the Optibus tab and click on Time Limitation - Restriction:

5. Press Apply at the bottom right.

This refers to a general limitation of time per duty.


For example, in the dropdown box click on Platform Time and set the Max Time to be 10:00. This means that a duty cant have more than 10 hours of platform time:

6. Click on Load Template.

7. Go to the Optibus tab and click on Time Limitation - Flexible.

8. Press Apply:

With this template you can say that platform time can be between, for example, 9 hours and 10 hours but there is a penalty to it.

In general, it is best practice to use the Time Limitation - Restriction preference as we want to have the least amount of penalties and the restriction preference is clearer.

If you want a certain preference group to have that time restriction, you can click on the drop down next to Save As Template and choose the preference group you want to assign it to:
