Time Definitions - 'Paid Time' template

Updated over 2 weeks ago

S-062-V3-EN

Paid Time and Paid Time (advanced) are templates of the Time Definitions preference. This is a general definition with high flexibility for customization.

To define a paid time:

  1. Open Preferences.

  2. Search for Time Definitions in the search bar and click on it in the list.

  3. Click Load Template.

  4. Search for Paid Time in the Optibus tab. Select it and click Apply.

Use example

If meal breaks are unpaid, open the Break IDs dropdown and tick Meal Break.

Next, the template lets you select which breaks should be unpaid within a break category: the Longest, First or All:

It is also possible to set a maximum cumulative unpaid break time in Max unpaid break time and a Guaranteed paid time, in hours and minutes.

Paid time and preference groups

If your paid time settings must vary between different driver groups (could be due to different union agreements) or any other criteria, you can set up different Preference groups. The same Paid Time template can be loaded several times, and modified for each respective group. To match the correct preference group to each paid time setup, select the group in the top-right corner of the preference window:

Note: Each preference group can only have one assigned paid time template.

‘Paid Time (advanced)’ template

For additional capabilities, you can use the Paid Time (advanced) template.

This template includes Cheapest and Sequence options for Unpaid breaks as an extra unpaid break time setup, as well as the possibility of adding different maximum unpaid time for each duty break, in the Maximum unpaid time per break type

field.
