When you optimize your duty schedule, the system will automatically generate ID numbers for the duties. If you prefer to select the ID numbers yourself, you may do so via preferences.
1. In the schedule, click on the preferences.
2. At the preferences window, click "All" and select "Duty ID Generator" (either by searching in the search box or finding it under "Drivers").
3. Click "Load Template".
4. Click the "Optibus" tab and choose the template with the setting you prefer. Click "Apply" to save the preference template.
For example, the template "Sort by line and start time ID generator" allows you to set the first ID from which the system will start generating the IDs.
It will sort from the earliest duty to the latest.
The template "Duty pairing ID generator" means that when the system generates the duties, it will pair duties that are set to use the same vehicle and display them one after the other.
5. Fill in the parameters as needed, and click "Save."
6. Back in the schedule, click the schedule updates tab (the half-circles and arrows) and select "Generate IDs." Select "Duties" to re-generate the duty IDs based on the preferences you set.
After generating the new duty IDs, you can also manually edit the duty IDs.
