Templates

Duty Break Without Break Locations

If break locations are not relevant, you can use this template for a simple setup. It includes the following parameters:

  • Break Time Range: The minimum and maximum break time.

  • Break Name: For example Meal break, Paid break.

  • Time before break: The minimum and maximum time before the break.

  • Time after break: The minimum and maximum time after the break.

  • Max Fill Enrichment Duration: The maximum amount of custom event fill time that can be added to a break.

    • Example: Required break of 0h30-1h30, and a 3h gap between pieces:

      • Max Fill Enrichment Duration: 2h → 1h30 break and 1h30 fill

      • Max Fill Enrichment Duration: 1h → Duty is invalid because a 1h30 break and 1h fill does not cover the 3h gap

The default Max Fill Enrichment Duration is zero minutes, meaning no custom event fill will be added, and the max break will determine the max allowed break time.

  • Fill Enrichment Name: Name of the fill custom event

Duty Break With Break Locations

This template is similar to the first one, however, it adds the following parameter:

  • Break Stop Group: The stop groups eligible for this break.

Notes:

  • The Stop Groups preference must be configured before using this template.

  • You can set multiple break preferences using the same template. For example, assigning some locations to paid breaks and others to unpaid breaks.

Duty Break In Limited Times Of The Day

This template lets you define the earliest start and latest end times of the break, instead of time before/after the break.

Earliest break start time: The earliest time a break can start.

Latest break start time: The latest time a break can end.
