You can manually edit vehicle IDs in your schedule.
To change the ID of the vehicle:
Click on the vehicle ID.
Edit it in the pop-up as shown below:
Once you have changed the ID of the vehicle it will appear with an orange font to signify it is a new addition as shown below:
You can also generate vehicle IDs:
3. Select all the rows in the schedule, which will activate the vehicle ID generator icon:
With the field of IDs start from you can select the ID for the vehicle to start from.
With Increment you can choose what the increment is.
With Minimum ID length you can decide the minimum number of digits a vehicle ID will have.
With Prefix you can determine if vehicle IDs get a prefix (optional).
4. Once you have filled the fields you can see sample IDs generated based on your configuration at the bottom left side of the pop up:
5. Click GENERATE. You can see all the vehicle IDs have been created based on the rules you applied:
6. Click SAVE on the top right side of the screen. The IDs will return to their original colour, as they no longer differ from the saved version:
You can also add other properties of some or all vehicles by selecting the vehicle IDs of the vehicles you would like to edit, which will activate the Batch edit mode, and clicking on the edit icon:
Click on the Hidden Stats and you can decide for example which Vehicle Type would be applied for the selected vehicles as shown below:
You can select multiple vehicles and unassign all the trips in those vehicles by clicking on the icon as shown below:
All the vehicles will move to the stack once you select that option:
