The Midday Park preference sets the conditions in which vehicles go to the depot during the day.
In this article, you will learn how to set the Midday Park preference.
The Midday Park preference can be found in the preferences menu. To get there:
Go into your schedule.
Click on the Preferences icon on the top-left side of the screen.
Open the All tab underneath the search bar, click Vehicles, then click Midday Park.
4. Click Load Template at the bottom of the pop-up.
5. Go to the Optibus tab which contains all the pre-saved preferences:
6. Select Mid day park and press Apply.
There are several things we can set within this preference:
Minimal break length - the minimal time between two trips from which a midday park is allowed.
Minimum park time - the minimum time the vehicles need to be at the depot.
Parking allowed only in depots - defines whether the parking is only allowed in the depot or if they can park anywhere
Circular depot - whether the vehicle must return to the same depot as the one they started at
Constraint - whether this is a mandatory rule
Park cost - the cost to send the vehicle to the depot
