The Layover preference allows you to control the time between trips. This article explains how to set it up.

Go to Preferences and search for Layover.

Click Load Template to select the template you want to apply.

The templates let you control layovers after specific routes, before specific routes, at specific stops, or based on route duration.

Layover - after route template

This template lets you define the layover time that occurs after a specific route, with the option to specify the direction.

You can use the filter to apply rules for specific times of day. Click on Filter on the right.

Select the Time Intervals tab, then click on Add time range.

Enter the time range during which you want the preference to be applied.

At the bottom right, select whether the rule applies within or outside the defined time range.

The filter can also be used to apply the rule based on vehicle type.

Click on the Vehicles Types tab and select a vehicle type from the dropdown.

Once set up, click Close in the top-right corner to exit the filter, then click Save & Close to save the preference.

How layovers appear on the schedule

  • Schedule before setting the Layover preference.

  • Schedule after setting an 8-minute layover as a constraint.
