You can manually change vehicle types in the schedule (for instance, from interurban vehicles to urban vehicles) without having to change vehicle types globally via preferences. Vehicle types can be changed singly or in batches.
Click to go tothe Vehicle schedule tab
Check the box(es) on the left next to the vehicles whose vehicle type you would like to change.
Click the pencil icon to edit manually.
Select the vehicle type you would like to change these vehicles to in the pull-down menu. If you don't initially see the Vehicle Type menu, first click Hidden stats.
Once you've selected the new vehicle type, click Apply.
The changed vehicles will appear in an orange text, with a blue line to their left.
