Relief vehicles (also known as taxis, ferry cars and service trips, among other names) collect drivers and take them between changeover points or to and from the depots. This might be so that they can continue their duty, take a break or finish their shift.
This article assumes that a taxi catalog and optimization with the associated travel preferences have already been configured. It does not apply to duty schedules that use public transportation (i.e. deadhead trips) for taxi transport.
The Relief Vehicle Schedule tab appears in the far top-right of the screen after ‘Optimize relief vehicles’ has been run.
Move or delete a single trip
Individual trips on the Gantt can be moved in the usual way:
Click on the pencil icon at the top of the screen.
Click on a trip and then click either the Bin icon to delete it or the Move button to move them to a new location.
Clearing all relief vehicle trips
You can clear all trips from the Relief vehicle schedule by clicking on the Schedule updates button at the far-top-left of the screen and selecting Clear relief vehicles.
