Change duty IDs

Updated over 2 weeks ago

S-126-V1-EN

You can manually change the duty IDs in your schedule (rename duties) as needed, either one duty ID at a time or by auto-generating multiple IDs at once. (Note: You can also use Set duty ID preferences to automatically change the IDs.)

Manually change duty IDs one at a time

1. Go to the duty scheduling tab at the top right of the schedule.

2. Click on a duty ID number on the left of the schedule, in the column labeled "ID."

3. To edit the duty ID, click "Edit" at the bottom of the pop-up window (if you're not in manual editing mode).

Alternatively, click on the pencil icon User-added image to activate manual editing and then click the duty ID number. The ID details in the pop-up window will be editable.

5. Click Save on the schedule itself to save the schedule with the change(s) you made.

Manually change multiple duty IDs at once

You can also change multiple duty IDs at the same time, by auto-generating duty IDs.

1. Check the boxes next to the duty IDs you want to change. Click the lightning icon to use the ID generator to change the IDs of the selected duties.

2. Enter the duty ID number you'd like to start from in the "Start from" box. The "Increment" box shows the spread between IDs, so if you want the numbers to be consecutive, you would choose "1," if you want them to skip a number you would choose "2," etc.

3. Click "Generate" at the bottom of the pop-up window. If the duty IDs you are attempting to rename will cause conflict with existing duty IDs, you will be shown a message stating that existing IDs will have an "a" added to the end (i.e. "1" will be changed to "1a").

Note that the most recent changes will be marked in orange.
