When a schedule is imported it’s not automatically linked to a timeplan. In this article, you will learn how to sync an imported schedule with a timeplan if needed.
Note: the schedule and the timeplan you are linking must be in the same project.
Instructions
Once you’ve imported your schedule, go to the timeplan you want to link it to and export it to a dataset.
In the new scheduling dataset that is created click New Schedule. This will create a blank schedule.
Click the Import button, then click Import a Different Schedule.
Select the schedule you imported, fill in the necessary mapping and options (more detail on projection can be found in the related article), and click Apply.
Your imported schedule will now be brought into your new schedule which is linked to a timeplan.
