In this article, we go over the basic navigation elements of the Scheduling product.
As with other parts of the platform, from the top-left corner, you can access the side menu.
Next to it, you will find a folder icon. Clicking on it will take you to the Schedules tab of your project.
The circular arrows icon is the Update schedule button that contains the following features:
Update trips (currently not functional)
Clear duties (removes all the trips from the schedule)
Generate IDs (for vehicles, duties, or both)
The pencil icon enables the manual editing mode, allowing you to move trips around the schedule.
Next is the Preferences icon.
Preferences let you set some rules to analyze , validate , or optimize
your schedule against.
The three dots button is where you can export and
import various scheduling data, or access general settings. General settings let you customize KPIs and enable or disable manual editing.
Going further right, you will see the Undo, Redo, and History buttons. Undo and Redo let you revert or bring back the last changes made in the Schedule, and History lets you view the list of most recent changes and roll them back if possible.
In the middle of the top bar, you will see the name (Demo in the screenshot) of the schedule, its lock status (whether it can be edited or not), and its synchronization with the linked timeplan (the green checkmark).
If you click on the small downward arrow next to the name, you will see different options for saving the schedule.
If your project contains several service IDs, you can switch between them by clicking on the current service name in the top-right corner.
You can switch between your vehicle and crew schedules in the top-right corner.
